After the Middleby acquisition, Viking redesigned the door hinge, evaporator fan, and ice-maker control on the 7-Series — but kept legacy part numbers in the field. A tech who orders by legacy SKU will install the wrong part and the failure returns in 90 days. Reon techs maintain Viking's revised parts matrix and verify model + serial before any OEM order.

Yes — factory-trained on the full Viking line including Pro 7-Series refrigerators, custom-panel built-ins, gas and dual-fuel ranges, wine cellars, refrigerated drawers, and wall ovens. We honor manufacturer warranty work and use only OEM Viking parts.
How much does Viking refrigerator repair cost?+
Flat $89 diagnostic, waived in full with the repair. Typical Viking repairs run $285–$685. Evaporator fan, defrost timer, and ice-maker control replacements are at the lower end. Compressor or sealed-system repairs reach $985.
My Viking's pre-2015 and the part isn't in stock anywhere — can you still fix it?+
Yes. We maintain Viking's pre/post-2015 parts compatibility matrix and source legacy OEM through Middleby's heritage parts program. If the part is truly EOL we'll source a service-bulletin-approved equivalent and document it on the invoice.
